Dear all,

I received my tier 1 today ,Just want to share my exp with other people who fall on same catogery

changing from PSW to Tier1
Current visa expiry : 11/01/11
Date of application : 10/01/11
Employment status : Employed and self employed
Biometrics given : 11/02/11
Approval letter and doc received : 26/02/11
Biometrics card received : 28/02/11
Visa valid until : 23/02/13
Self employment : applied with class 2 NI only
UTR not received yet
I applied with the earnings from both employment and self employment. I have a master degree and maintained my required funds. I have applied through an agency who were very reliable and helpfull making my covering letter and arranged my documents professionaly. Any one looking for any good n less expensive agency I can highly recommend. My mail Id is shyambliss@gmail.com.

I have taken advice from this forum as well . This people in here really given me peace of mind. The moderators, seniors, juniors and all members esp sushil- acca, raxs1983, sanjeevxkumar were very helpfull giving me ideas throughout the process.Even though I used agency but still some questions you always want a double checking and reassurance . which employed job did u use?was it paid job in uk for a yr bcos i aplied on feb1,2011 thru PEO in cryodon and ve nt gotten my visa bck?thnks

yeap I have applied with a paid job in uk for a year and self employment to cover the short fall.

Guys when you get class 2 NI just go ahead and apply dont wait or waste money in chasing hmrc for UTR. You will get it for sure. cheers

Class 2 NI? What do mean by that one? you mean quarterly class 2 NI Contribution bill!
