Diff in Salary slip date and Bank statement date

Post by dark_horse » Thu Mar 03, 2011 5:15 pm

Hi,

I have filed my Tier 1 (general) extension and have my biometric appointment in last week of march.

However I noticed that for few months there is a gap 1-5 days between the date in my salary slips and the bank statement dates. the amounts are however exactly matching (to the pence).

sal slip Date Bank Statement date
28-Feb-10 26-Feb-10
31-Mar-10 26-Mar-10
30-Apr-10 30-Apr-10
31-May-10 28-May-10
30-Jun-10 25-Jun-10
31-Jul-10 30-Jul-10
31-Aug-10 27-Aug-10

30-Sep-10 24-Sep-10
29-Oct-10 29-Oct-10
26-Nov-10 26-Nov-10
31-Dec-10 24-Dec-10
28-Jan-11 28-Jan-11

In my cover letter i had mentioned each month's salary but had not highlighted the difference between the dates.

Should I send a revised cover letter to UKBA with these details hoping that it somehow gets to the case worker before they consider my case.

thanks

No dont worry about it. This was the case for me too (i got approval recently). As long as the amount exactly match and obvisouly the month matches, it can be few days here n there.

No worries. My payslips were dated 24th of the previous month and salary was credited only on the second week of the preceding month say between 6-8th. It wasn't a problem for me. So it shouldn't be a problem for you !!

Dates doesn't matter for salary as long as reasonable difference. Your case is fine.
