Fund requirements

Post by neeenu » Thu Mar 03, 2011 5:02 pm

hi

sorry for the delay in replying..
I got biometric appointment invitation letter.
I'm a Nurse and salary mentioned is 32 k.They mentioned Visa is for 2 years .Since it is a best institution for my career development and also salary is comparatively good I accepted the offer .
So I know there is no point in asking this (maintanence fund requirements) now after applied for Visa . But when I enquired with the Home office they told no need to show funds I can claim points for that .Again when reading the topics its increasing the tension .Getting biometric invitation letter means that 50% of work is done ..documents submitted is Ok ..
Could any one with experience can clarify with detail .

I'm presently in Tier 2 Visa with a salary 28K .Got entry clearance on 2009 .

the fact you have got biometric invitation means that you have made a "valid" application meaning your payment is accepted, you included all the docs etc.

it does not translate to 50% but you have completed phase 1 of the app, if you like. phase 2 would be, you getting biometrics done, and phase 3 would be the decision.

Your app will be seen by caseworker around 15th March- ish. At that time he/she will decide your fate/destiny/application

What is your nationality? Does your entry clearance state that you need to register with the police?
