ILR application, lost passport & no evidence of exits

Post by meritocrat » Sat Mar 05, 2011 7:27 pm

Ladies & Gents,

I am sure this topic has been discussed 1000 times, but again would appreciate your thoughts. What exactly u can do if u lost your passport and with that all evidences of departures from the UK.
Say u r from "wonderland" where u just can not obtain evidences of entries?

No chance?

Thanks a lot

You are just going to have to provide documentary evidence. Eg, letters from employers confirming your presence in the UK over a period, GP's documents, photos, some airlines may have records, credit card bills (if you used your card in the UK)....use your imagination.

This information might be available in the SAR File. Can't say for certain but seniors might be able to confirm.
