Tier-1(General)dependent visa status applied fromVFS chennai

Hi all,

I applied for Tier1 G from Chennai on 22nd Dec and the status changed to "under process with bhc" on 31 st Dec.

I tried calling BHC about 100-150 times a day and atlast i was fortunate that they attended my call and when enquired about the status they said that i will be getting my pasport back within 11th Feb.

So ppl, try calling bhc instead of vfc for updates. But its quite frustrating to listen to the engaged tone hours together.

My Silly assumption is " If they delay delivering my passport for another 10 days, it wont be a rejection and if its a rejection they could ve done it right now. "

Its confusing and frustrating. Oops . Keeping my fingers crossed .

Wat do u guys feel abt my issue. My documents are mostly straight forward and correct. Still im not sure whats happening.

Guys,

when i was applied visa fro my wife in nov i got it in 4 days. But nowadays its taking much time, i think due to closure of Christmas holidays...lot of pending applications... i dont know when can i get it....

Hi all

I finally saw a change in status update with respect to my husband's tier 1 dependent visa. It says "processed application in transit". Does that mean it has been couriered?

Hi Achin,

Did you receive your passport yet ? Was the visa granted? It has taken more than 1 month for my husband's visa to be processed. There has been a status update to " application in transit". Im anxious to know if that means the visa is granted.

Hi All,

I got a change in my status saying My application is delivered to Blue dart . I checked with Blue dart , they said I will receive my passport tomorrow before 12 am.

Waiting for the result!!

I applied Dependent visa for my wife on 24Feb 2011 in VFS chennai, current status : Under Process with BHC

Has anyone applied dependent visa recently and got approved from VFS chennai, can you please share your timelines?

I applied for my tier 1 uk dependent visa from pune on the 2nd of March.
I was going through the replies posted on this site and found that the time lines have changed drasticaly and that it can vary from a few days time to more than a month....
Anybody applied from Pune recently?

Yep, It is approved, we collected it from the VFS chennai center.
