Family visa for wife

Hi,
I am on general tier 1 visa vaild upto april 2012.I want my wife to come and join me,but i dont want to apply for general tier 1 dependent.So my question :-
1)Can she apply for family visitor visa (while i am on tier 1)?
2)I am living in uk with in house share/room share,so which document should i submit as tenancy agreement?

Ensure that your wife submits compelling evidence of strong ties to home country to convince the ECO that your spouse will leave UK within 6 months of entering UK as a family visitor.

Can you please tell me which documents i can produre to prove "strong ties to home country" for my wife?
