PSW-Course Completion Letter

Hi,

In order to apply for PSW a letter from college is suffiecient stating the date of award and course details or original transcript is a must?

My results are out on 24th March (doing MBA in Tier4 A rated college affiliated to Sunderland University) and I have got a PEO appointment on 28th March so wondering whether a course completion letter with the date of award is sufficient?

I did check the policy guidance which doesn't say that Transcript is a must...

Experts.....pls advice can I go ahead with the college letter?

Hi Newmoon,

As per the advice I got from my university, Transcript is not necessary document for PSW for PG course. An original letter from university is sufficient. However it should contain the following information

your Full Name
Course Title
Course Start Date
Course End Date
Date of Award (Date you were first notified about the final result)
Awarding Body (University Name)
Confirmation that Degree will be awarded
Reason for not issuing degree certificate (Eg:- Graduation after 6 months)

transcripts are not required...

but as you are applying in person, they might come handy to prove that you were a genuine student and completed your course etc. etc.

But, no transcripts are not (officially) required for psw

not required,

only a letter from your uni stating that you have been awarded and the certificate will be issued in due course,

as left by others he specific details like course etc should be in the letter like duhh the uni would do that so just ask for it, get your statement and post it!..

Just one clarification .... As I said before I am studying in a college but a university program so if i get a letter from my college once the results are out will that be fine.

yes the day ur results are out, the college can issue you the letter,

be ready with your statement for covering 90 days with 800pounds

and ur good to go. :D
