hi mcovet, are u trying to say in some cases one might nt receive a coa if yr case is straight forward and a rc will be issued without a coa first.
cos in my case i vent even received a coa till nw

i made an application on may 2010
coa sent after a week
july we asked for his passport back
oct 2010 ho sent my application back claiming my husband hasnt completed his wrs.
dec 8th we sent back the application with a letter from his employer stating he has been working with the company for a year and 5mnths.
but we forgot to include his passport
but this time no coa. i ve tried calling the ho but i was told they re looking into it .
1,what does that mean looking into it
2,why wasnt i sent a coa
3,how do we send the passport accross cos i was told by ho over the phne that my application is nw for eea2 and he has completed his wrs and when i asked if i should send the passport he said that if they need the passport they ll ask for it do u really think thats okay or wld it hinder my application
