Do I need Insurance for applying HSMP

Hi Guys

I am applying for HSMP Tier 1- General next week, I am self employed and also employed. I am wondering do I have to get insurance for self employment???

I will highly appreciate for serious replies....

Employer Liability Insurance is no more a requirement.
