is it ok to submit unattested photocopies of sponsor's passport with spouse visa application?

Depends on requirements imposed by local BHC.

In Pakistan,

My husband who is applying in USA for his spouse visa has sent my original passport along with an uncertified photo copy of the bio-data page.

as i have already sent my documents to my wife and she has booked an appointment with gerry's aswell. and i cant take no time off from work to get it certified from here. is it ok to get it attested from Pakistan courts or shall i just send my original passport instead?
