Spouse ILR help please

Post by Swan » Thu Mar 17, 2011 12:59 pm

Hi
my husband was issued a 2 year spouse visa on the 09 July 2009, he didn't enter the UK until the 20th of August. The visa expires in October 2011 (27 months).

1- When is the earliest date he can apply for his ILR? Do we count 2 years from the issue date of the visa minus 28 days?

2- He passed his life in the UK test earlier in April 2009, is it still valid? does he have to take it again?

Thank you in advance

1. No earlier than 28 days before 2nd anniversary of entry in the UK.
2. Yes and no.
