Dear All

please guide me

my name is Karan few months back I moved to Belgium and got work permit, I am about to Divorced my wife because of lot of problems in between us. I came from India on spouse visa supported by my wife then later on got an registration card of Belgium, in case of I divorced my wife will I have the same legal status and will I be able to keep going with my registration card? OR my wife holds rights to send me back to India?

please guys guide me accordingly,

How long have you had your rc for?

I believe it all depend on how long you've had the rc.

I don't think you'll be returned to India if you've had it for 3-4 years.

I think a lot also depend on the reason for devorce e.g being abused
