Part time studying while on Tier 1 (General)

Part time studying while on Tier 1 (General)

Hi All

A quick question - does the Tier 1 General visa allow the holder to pursue a part time (evening course) while working ?

I would be grateful for a quick response - thank you.

Yes you can. The Tier 1 visa does not prohibit study (you just have to make sure you meet the earnings requirement for extension).

Thanks for the quick response Goldfish. Is there any source I can quote this rule from ? I just want to be sure before throwing away GBP 13000

There is no "rule" to state that one can or cannot study (full-time or part-time) while in UK on leave to enter / remain as a Tier 1 (General) migrant.
