Tier 1 application form - Minor offences

Hi,

I am planning to apply for tier1 extension and thinking which section of the application to be used to fill out minor traffic offenses!

Also I am thinking to not to include any offenses at all!

Any comments

You have to remember that committing minor traffic offences is not a reason for your application to be rejected but lying about them is a reason for rejection.

If you believe that "traffic offences" in the UK are minor when compared to "shoplifting", you are mistaken.

Regardless of whether you consider traffic offences so minor that they need not be mentioned, the Home Office is very clear that they need to be mentioned.

If you go to Page 25 of the form, it very clearly asks:

E1. Has the applicant had any criminal convictions in the United Kingdom or any other country (including traffic offences) or any civil judgments made against them?

So once again, do not make the mistake of not mentioning them. Committing traffic offences is not in itself a reason to get denied the visa, but lying about them definitely is!
