appeal for settlement visa refusal

Hi ,
please advice, we have submitted an appeal for settlement visa refusal to IAC in UK on 24th feb 2011 through representative (solicitor). when i contacted our solicitor whether they received any ackowledge of the receipt, they says they haven't received yet and says wait for one more week or so.

colud any one advice please normally how many days it takes to receice any ackowledge whether they received our appeal application or not.

it takes 3-4 weeks to process at AIT. they date stamp files the day they receivethem, then takes 3 weeks to process them and put it on the computer systems, Letters are sent out to ur representative and the appellant and the Post that made refusal, and given a date usually 19 weeks to return what is called the "bundle" meaning ur file.
