Anyone working in a Project Finance role?

Post by cheshiregoan » Sun Mar 20, 2011 11:17 am

I'm currently working in a project based Finance role (not ACCA/CIMA) and am looking to relocate to London. I have lived in the UK since 2005 in the North West but now want to experience London for a couple of years before I return to India.

Does anyone do project finance/management roles in London? I would highly appreciate if anyone could give advice regarding what agencies they applied through or companies they have worked/currently working at?
Please do not send me any Private Messages as I do not check these.

Hi,

You can start by looking up vacancies on sites like Reed.co as well as specialist finance recruiters who have vacancies listed on their sites. However, in most cases project finance roles require that you either be a qualified accountant or be working towerds a qualification.

The only other project finance roles that don't require an accounting qualification are normally found in investment banks or PE/VC firms.

Regards,
Mesam.
