switching from Tier 2 to Tier 1 after 6th April 2011

switching from Tier 2 to Tier 1 after 6th April 2011

Hi All,

I am currently on Tier-2 General Visa and is valid till Aug -2013.
I wish to switch to Tier 1 (general) category.
can i switch to Tier 1 category after 6 April 2011?

guys please reply ASAP...

ukcalling,

No one knows for sure yet, but from what I have read, once the tier 1 route closes from April 6th, I don't think you will be able to switch unless it is under the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Route and I believe this will be very difficult to get.

This is just my opinion and I am not 100% sure.

Tier 1 is closing on 5 April.
