lost original HMRC letter

lost original HMRC letter

i lost my HMRC's original letter where it mentioned my UTR no. for self-employed. now its too late to order coz am applying on 31st march 2011.

will they accept photocopy ?
need advice plz

UKBA do not accept photocopy of your 'HMRC Welcome Letter' as this is your mandatory document.

However you can show the Class 2 NI - Invoice and evidence for paying them.

If you are sending original Class 2 NI - Invoice and Copy of your HMRC Welcom letter, Mention this in your covering letter clearly
