Sponsering Wife - Married Partner.

Hello members.

I have couple of thigns to findout and would be great if anyone can help me.

I have got my british citizenship , via HSMP/ILR , recently. Now im planning to get married soon. BUt my wouldbe is not residing in UK/Europe . I have gone through the rquirements to sponser someone who lives outside of UK /Europe , but still would like to know the followings,

1. Is there any specific requirements exisit in terms of Bank balance for the last 3 / 6 months from the sumission date of application. as i heard that atlest the sponser should maintain at least £ 2800.00 every month ? Is this correct ? i have a job and i have proper income.

2.I dont own a house/ flat now, but i'm thinking to rent a one bed flat. Would it be accecptable ?
