Strange situation,got ILR today.....

Post by helloimran » Wed Mar 30, 2011 12:11 am

Hi guys i am over the moon now.
I got my ILR today, under 10 years rule,it took exactly 6 weeks.

Surprisingly i only received my documents today with ILR.
I did not received any thing regarding my wife and daughter application FLR(M),but i applied both applications together.

Now i am bit concern about my wife application,i do not know what to do.
Shall i ring to homeoffice tomorrow for the outcome of FLR(M) application?
Respected members i really need your advice on this matter?
Thanks
IMRAN..

There is nothing strange about it.

Your settlement application has been decided and you have been granted settlement.
Your spouse's FLR(M) application is still under consideration. When a decision is made, you'll get the documents back.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

Did you apply for your child's ILR and wife's ILR in one post? I am in the same situation and thought I need to get my ILR first then apply for my baby's ILR. But certainly in your way it sould speed up the process.

And one more question, did your wife spend two years in the UK before applying for her ILR together with your ILR application?

Thanks for your answer.
