Mistakes on Cover letter by OISC consultant

Post by p107nky » Thu Mar 31, 2011 8:49 pm

Dear Fellow members,

I am switching from workpermit to Tier 1 and have posted my application today (By my agent). I have been shown all the photo copied documents by agent, and I have found that he has done few mistakes on cover letter as below:

Instead of: work permit to Tier 1 he has written Tier 2 (G) to Tier 1
And my education as Bachelor of Science instead of Bachelor of Commerce.

I am bit concerned about these mistakes and not sure of what kind of impact it will leave to case worker. However I have requested him to resend cover letter, which he has agreed to. But I am not sure of the outcome.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks
Pramod

Dont worry about work permit and tier2, they are like brother n cousin.

but Bcom and Bsc could make issue, as you have submitted the degree of BSc and wrote down Bcom. Lets hope they dont pick this point.

let your agent inform that if they sent any query he has to answer carefully.

Thanks for your reply, this is what concerns me. Its a bachelors degree thought and awards same points. Instead of commerce he written as Science.

Does anyone has any experiences like this?

They should do everything in their power to rectify the issue...
Demand that - you paid for their expertise!

the cover letter is just to provide brief information to case worker and it is not any legal document...
the case worker will not take any decision on your case by just seeing the cover letter ..so just chill out
