any way out to get the passport back?

Post by pbn » Mon Apr 04, 2011 12:24 pm

Hi

I applied for tier1 general extension along with dependant on 1st march by post and completed biometrics on 22nd march. As per the timeline posts in this forum, seems like it takes 12-15 days to get the passport, BRP and documents back after completing the biometrics. But I havent yet received mine and I have urgent travel around 20th april. Is there anyway i can request my passport back? is withdrawl the only option?

Please advice.

Thanks
pbn

I believe so.

Every application is assessed on its own merit(s). While you may perceive it so but it is not necessary that your application will follow the same / similar timeline as other applicants.

If you wish to withdraw, decide and request well in time ... because it may take UKBA some days to return your passport.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
