EEA family permit Child application

can someone please help us. We are applying for our Non-EEA citizen son EEA family permit. My wife is EEA citizen and will be exercising her treaty right and we all will move there.
SInce our since is minor, 5 year old, who is suppose to sign the application.
can my wife sign his name and sign her name infront of it and write her relation to him. WHAT is the proper method o handle this.
