The lady asked about my salary if its was same or higher of the last application . to which i replied it to be Lower by 3 K but within the same points system ( 46K -- 43K)

Payment was done immediate .

Waited for an Hour to be called

Submitted

I was asked if i had any documents from HMRC , i had taken my 3 yrs Corp Tax ack from HMRC and a copy of all my annual returns

Thanks asys for posting your story. That's one less thing to worry about. I have a feeling I won't be sleeping much this week.

Congrats asys for your ILR.

Thanks for posting your experience, its really useful

Your ILR answered many of the queries in very a positive way.

In my case though band changed.
The lady asked about my salary if its was same or higher of the last application . to which i replied it to be Lower by 3 K but within the same points system
Did you ask / did the caseworker say anything after your answer to the above question, regarding salary - same criteria/band, etc

Congratulation and this is very useful for me. I am almost on the same situation.

What category you choose in your application in section 3 for a combination of WP+HSMP+TIER1 ? because I have the same situation and due to apply this june 2 week time.

Thanks

Congratulations on your ILR.

I am applying for ILR on 14th April. I will be greatfull if you can provide following information as my visa is same like you WP / HSMP / TIER 1.

1. did you claim points for degree.
Reason: i extended to Tier 1 in october 09. and as per application form i cannot get 30 points for degree and hence it is impossible to get 75 points.

2. were you asked any documents from employer for work permit duration.

3. were you asked five years p60.

4. what documents did ou provide to prove cohabitation.

Appreciate if you can reply urgently.

thank you

No the caseworker did not ask me any questions about the salary ,he was following his guidelines and working out how much points he needs to give me . One point to note is that he told me that mine was the first case he was working after the rule change

No

No , however he asked me if i had any company returns and HMRC TAX documents

4. what documents did ou provide to prove cohabitation.

I had provided my salary account alone which was a joint account and the case worker did not want any more docs .

Appreciate if you can reply urgently.

thank you

When calculating age points what timescale did she took into account.
Date of HSMP Letter application OR
Date of HSMP Visa OR
Date of Tier 1 Visa.

Thanks

I did not claim points for age as i was above the age limite set on Tier1 .

Looking at the way the did the calculation they were more keen on earning than any other info.
Thanks

Hi asys,
Congratulations and Thanks for sharing the experience.

1). Did your 5-year history includes both Self-Employment (Director) and Employment?

2). What is your current status Self Employment ? (Since I didn't notice of P60 here so assume it as Self Employment)

3). It seems that requested you for the HMRC documents.
a). How many years of HMRC documents they requested?
b). What was the proof they expected from the HMRC docs?
c). In your sense was it a compulsory request or an optional one?

Appreciate if you could give some more information.

I was a Employee even though i am director of a company , I had submitted payslips, dividend voucers, letter from accountant and Bank statements as 2 proofs .

I did not have the P60 for the current year as i will get it only in May 2011.

However i was asked for the Company returns and proof of my Corporation Tax payment for past 3 yrs .

Hi,

1. Did you carry draft return to cover the period from your last return to your ILR date?

2. What proof did you carry? (I only have accountant's advice and bank statement showing corporation tax payment).

Hi asys,
Congratulations!!!
My question is how many points have you got for your age? Were you granted age point when you first applied for HSMP or for extension age?

HMRC

Congratulation, why did they ask the document from HMRC, you have provided two different source, payslip & bank statement, it is enough for a sarlaried employment, i'm in same situation, a director of a company.

i thought that the case work is not sure about new rule, he want a self employment document from HMRC, such as class 2 NIC, but recognized that you are not self employment later, you are the employee of your own company. thanks

Congratulations asys!! Please could I check with you ... Did you ticked Yes for the point "D1. Please confirm whether you have spent a continuous period of 5 years lawfully in the United Kingdom:"

As you applied 28 days before 5 years?

I am planning to apply 21 days befor 5 years although I still got Tier1 visa until Jun 2012
