Marriage certificate for visitor visa

Hi,

I am expecting a baby in July, so I want to call my parents(In India) on visitor visa in June. We can provide all the documents except marriage cert. for my parents as they got married almost 35 years back. Do, I need to provide some affidavit stating that are married? Their passports show spouse name as each otehr's name.

Also, is it ok to mention coming to assist daughter in child birth as purpose of visit or just say, family visit.
