Did you ask / did the caseworker say anything after your answer to the above question, regarding salary - same criteria/band, etcThe lady asked about my salary if its was same or higher of the last application . to which i replied it to be Lower by 3 K but within the same points system
No the caseworker did not ask me any questions about the salary ,he was following his guidelines and working out how much points he needs to give me . One point to note is that he told me that mine was the first case he was working after the rule changedeepu_0158 wrote:Congrats asys for your ILR.
Thanks for posting your experience, its really useful
Your ILR answered many of the queries in very a positive way.
In my case though band changed.

No i did not provide any letter for my WP , however i had taken my P60 & P45 and all my salary slips just in case .vijay13 wrote:Congrats, that answers my question..so we have to be in the same band for the salary criteria....
Also did you had to show any letter from the employer for your period of WP
Did you take your dependents along with you.
Cheers

I am applying for ILR on 14th April. I will be greatfull if you can provide following information as my visa is same like you WP / HSMP / TIER 1.
1. did you claim points for degree.
Reason: i extended to Tier 1 in october 09. and as per application form i cannot get 30 points for degree and hence it is impossible to get 75 points.
====if you read the guidelines you can claim your 30 points for Degree
2. were you asked any documents from employer for work permit duration.
No
3. were you asked five years p60.
No , however he asked me if i had any company returns and HMRC TAX documents
4. what documents did ou provide to prove cohabitation.
I had provided my salary account alone which was a joint account and the case worker did not want any more docs .
Appreciate if you can reply urgently.
thank you

When calculating age points what timescale did she took into account.
Date of HSMP Letter application OR
Date of HSMP Visa OR
Date of Tier 1 Visa.
I did not claim points for age as i was above the age limite set on Tier1 .
Looking at the way the did the calculation they were more keen on earning than any other info.
Thanks
Thanks for pointing that out. I missed it in the text.asys wrote:psdesai wrote:Thanks for posting your experience. I would be grateful if you can share one more thing.asys wrote:had an appointment at 10:30 at Croydon PEO .

Congratulations and Thanks for sharing the experience.
1). Did your 5-year history includes both Self-Employment (Director) and Employment?
2). What is your current status Self Employment ? (Since I didn't notice of P60 here so assume it as Self Employment)
3). It seems that requested you for the HMRC documents.
a). How many years of HMRC documents they requested?
b). What was the proof they expected from the HMRC docs?
c). In your sense was it a compulsory request or an optional one?
Appreciate if you could give some more information.
Hi,asys wrote: However i was asked for the Company returns and proof of my Corporation Tax payment for past 3 yrs .
When you pay the CT , HMRC sends you an ack do you have that . it depends sometimes they might not ask .mfwales wrote:Hi,asys wrote: However i was asked for the Company returns and proof of my Corporation Tax payment for past 3 yrs .
1. Did you carry draft return to cover the period from your last return to your ILR date?
2. What proof did you carry? (I only have accountant's advice and bank statement showing corporation tax payment).
