Nannete, thank you for commenting! I appreciate your expert advice a lot.

this means they've been able to verify this internally and that your letter probably confirms this. And so as they believe, your GNIB will be renewed anyway, why wait ?
File sent to the minister, expect a yellow form soon and prepare your 950 euros.

This is good, I'd say in a month or less you should know (or to say have it)

Exactly, i've been waiting for 6 weeks for my CoN. INIS say they've printed it & are waiting to send it to Dublin for Minister's seal. 9 to 10 weeks' wait expected

Got the letter

Post by Abdul-w-A » Fri Apr 15, 2011 11:03 am

Got the letter and yellow form today, applied as a spouse of Irish citizen in April 2008. Three years sharp waiting. got a date for court in Galway on May 11th. strangely did not feel happy as I would have thought I would be, the tree year wait had its effect I guess.

Anyone knows how long does the certificate take to issue these days?

How long it the wait for first passport?

Best of luck to everyone still waiting

Regards

Anyone know the answer to this:

I've been offered a new job, and although I've not yet accepted, if I did, would I need to let the INIS know? My application is based on the spouse of an irish citizen (and also of being of irish descent).

Thanks in advance for any advice

kiwiwife.
Yes, you have to update inis once you accept the new job. You may attach a copy of your contract to the mail. Congrats for the new job!

Not necessarily, you have not applied as a permit holder. It's up to you wether you want to notify them or not, no harm/wouldnt make a difference.

Hi Bandar,
take it easy Bro and be patient, there's nothing you can do about it but to wait,
i think it's not as bad as what the lady told you on Tuesday, and also it's different from applicant to applicant,& i believe from nationality to nationality, i'm waiting since June 2008 & they are waiting Garda report before they consider sending my file to the minister, anything i can do about it? NO, so we just have to wait and keep going with our daily life.

So it appears that the applicants of mid 2009 will not get their decision before March/April 2012.
is there anyone who share the same opinion?
peace on you
