Unmarried partner visa

Post by browneyed_girlksk » Fri Apr 15, 2011 2:28 pm

Hi,

I'm planning on applying to switch into the unmarried partner category in the next few months and I had a question about evidence of cohabitation.

We'll have been living together for 2.5 years when I apply, and although we have loads of correspondence linking us to the same address, My name wasn't added to the lease agreement until almost 1 year into my stay -as such, we only have joint tenancy agreements covering about 1.5 years. Given that we can produce many other sources (addressed to us individually - mind you), Does anyone know if this will be a problem?

Thanks! Any insight or experience in this regard would be very much appreciated.
