Just wanted to know if partner/spouse of tier 1 (g) need to appear for IELTS to give proof of competancy in english?

I got my Tier 1 Visa on 26 July 2010 under 75 pt rule as I applied on 12 July.

Now I wish to apply for my wife and daughter.

Maintenance Funds:
1. 5800 GBP converted from INR from account held by me and my dad in Indian Bank.
2. 600 GBP converted from INR from account held by my wife and me in Indian Bank.

Can I use these 2 accounts? I am required to show 2800 + (2*1600)= 6000 GBP as I am still in India.

Hi,

My Husband got Tier 1 General Visa on 15-3-2009. He was there from 11-7-2010 to 17-8-2009. Then he came back. Again he went on 31st 2010 and joined a firm on 4th jan 2011. Now me and my kid have to apply Tier 1 General Dependant. So how much amount should maintain??

1. is it 1600(myself)+1600(my kid)+800(main applicant)=4000 pounds. Is this amount is sufficient?

2. or should main applicant have to maintain 2800 pounds?

please do clarify my querey.. Im bit confused...

Hi,
I have got my Tier 1 Visa valid from 1st November, but I moved to UK on 16th Feb, and taken up a contract job so NO pay slips or UK Account statements as of now. I have following queries:
Can I apply Dependent Visa for my wife without my salary/income proofs?
Note: I have kept the maintenance funds (2800+1600) for last 3 months in my India a/c the same in which I maintained my 2800 for Tier 1 G.
If I can apply the dependent visa, then what should be the list of documents?

Hello Friends,
I am in UK from past 5 months. My wife applied for tier 1 dependent visa for herself and my child together at bangalore on 16th Feb 2011.On 17th Feb she got an status update(SMS/mail) that the Document has bene sent to chennai.This was for both application numbers. On 19th Feb , she got an sms that her visa application is under process but no update came for my kid. On checking online the status on 1st March is still the same i.e for my wife "application under process" and for my kid "Application despatched to UK embassy" I wonder if there is some issue with my kid application . Or is the child visa processed only after the mother visa is through.
I had maintained 1600X2+800 = 4000GBP as maintenance fund in single bank account of my wife.
The VFS centre folks while accepting documents , had put the both the application in the same docket and returned one set of supporting documenst( we were submitting two copies of original bank statment and covering letter etc) .She was said as its one docket only one set of original is needed.
If anyone else experience the same issue, pls let me know.It would help reduce my anxiety for my childs application.

Could you please list down all needed documents for dependent especially are they any special documents to be submited for my son's visa, like affiliate letter from me.
