Visitor visa for Girlfirend

Just been to indonesia to see my girlfriend, and while there we applied for a visitor visa that was rejected on the grounds that she will have to quit her job to come here so there is no significant reason for her return, is there any way round this? here employer will not give her leave for that long so she has no alternative but to quit?
