Age band confusion

Post by tier1extn1 » Sat Apr 09, 2011 8:27 am

I came to uk in 2006 on work permit. Eventually, I applied for hsmp on 2 Feb 2008(and my age was 29). I received hsmp approval letter in March and was awarded 10 points. I applied for FLR in the month of June 2008(but by then hsmp scheme had been replaced by Tier 1) and got the visa for 3 yrs by then my age was 30.

Now I have to extend my Tier1 in June 2011. According to current rules, it says age as per date of application.

Is it initial hsmp application date or FLR switch to tier 1(under transitional arrangement) date?

Please help.

Thanks for the link mate.
I was just typing in my details on the point based calculator and surprisingly it asks you to enter the current age and not the age at the time of the initial date of application.
Does this mean they have not updated the calculator yet?
