Tier 1 Dependant question

Post by indian234 » Fri Apr 22, 2011 9:50 am

Hi All,

I am in UK for past 4 years and am getting married in 2 weeks.

My fiance will be applying for dependant visa on 11th May, 2011. I have UK HSBC Savings bank statement till April 12th as that is the last bank statement received. I have couple of questions here..

1. Is it ok if i submit this statement? My feeling is that it should do as that is the last statement received and next statement will reach me on May 16th.

2. Also, if i apply with last 3 months bank statements, can i submit additional documents on 17th? (like next months bank statement)

regards,

1. That is okay since it only22nd April but remember it shouldnt be older than 1 month just on the day of your visa application.

2. Only 3 months statements will be enough so when you apply on 11th MAY your statements would be on the verge of not valid, when you say you are applying on 11th, how can u submit 17th' May statements, once you submit your application you cannot send any other doucment this will not be accpeted or delay your app.

Lastly I would suggest talk to your bank about the latest trasactions and include it in your dependants application, normally bank will stamp your online printed statements and include a covering letter of BANK providing your name, account details and the balance.
