Tier 1 to dependent for ILR

Post by ajithmkumar » Wed Apr 27, 2011 8:30 am

Hi

I and my wife are on independent Tier 1 visas. I have been living in UK since 2007 and my wife since 2009. My wife's visa is due for first extension in April 2011 and I will submit my ILR application in Dec 2012.

I want to know what should be done, so we both an obtain ILR at the same time. I was thinking that switching my wife's visa status from Tier 1 to dependent will give us the opportunity to apply simultaneously.

Thanks in advance.

Since when have you two been living together in the UK?
