WORK PERMIT DEPENDENT VISA FOR MY INFANT DAUGHTER

Hi

I have applied for my daughter's work permit dependent VISA on 5th Aril 2011 and till date it is showing'' your VISA application has been forwarded to the British High Commision''. What doesn this mean? Can any one advise

In the subject of the mail they have quoted a 6 digit. Is it the application no?

Please advise me regarding my mail as I am quite anxious as it is alomost going to be 3 weeks.

it means what it says, the application is in a queue. you need to wait.

Have a look at the processing times for your embassy here:

Thanks for reply. I have checked VISA processing time and it says 3 weeks. What would be your suggestion regarding this?

As I am in India, I had to submit e statement of my UK savings account. Will this be valid

Evidence of income - payslips.
Evidence of available funds - bank statement(s).
Evidence of accommodation - tenancy agreement / copy of land registry / confirmation from the mortgage lender / council tax bill.
