Hey Adura,

good to hear from you...:)- don't leave. If you do, I will start a petition to get you back here.

What you could do is update her file...She can write to immigration just to say that:
I am writing to you to you just to update you on my family situation, as you know I am married to my husband, Adura. He's become an irish citizen, I have re-attached my mariage cert copy and a translated version of in english that you already have and a copy of his Irish cert and passport.

Congrats omobolayet087,
Time to send documentations for your passport application.
The processing have changed..i ll advice you call thepassport office to enquire about the requirements before you post off the applications.
Mine was delayed then due to incomplete documentations.
4passport photographs 2 of which must be stamped by the garda and signed.,you need your long birth cert notarized by your country's embassy, payslip, bankstatement,id card and your old passport.
I pray it all goes well for you/
Send it thru passport express and u should get it in 11days hopefully

Goodluck

Congratulations Omobola. Now you can relax. Did you include your original birth cert with the application? Did they ask for an attested copy @ the embassy?

Thanks

Give me your e-mail adress and I will sent you one in PDF (a friend of mine gave me the sample), or you can write them and ask a translation but they will send you a generic translation for the cert ( All details, dotted and blank). Up to you mate!

Will be asking for that translation dgnhly. I feel funny not knowing what the cert says! I'm working on writing my name 'an ghaeilge' now, to make the cert all irish
...though it tarries, it shall surely come...

Big Question Help Needed

Post by Abdul-w-A » Wed Apr 27, 2011 10:28 pm

Hello everyone on the priviliged club.

I recieved my approval a few weeks ago and was reading this thread.

It seems that I have a bit of a problem regarding birth certificate stamped at country of origin embassy.

I'm Syrian and Syria has no embassy in Ireland.

how will I stisify this requirement?!!!

is there a contact number/email to the officials in charge of this at the passport office to talk to them about that?

Any help highly valued.

regards
