Travelling to the UK 1 month before start of course?

Dear all,

I will be attending, provided my VISA approves, a 4 years degree in Engineering.

My course starts on 19th September and intended to travel on the 20th of August.

I understand I can enter the UK 1 month before the start of the course.
Is that still the case?

Yes you can, UKBA states

"If you are doing a course that lasts six months or more, or it is a course to prepare you for study (known as a pre-sessional course), you can come to the UK up to one month before your course start date."
