Even refusing Nigerians at a rate of 126 per day doesn't deter them. The question they ask when getting a refusal is ''When can I apply again''jager wrote:http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/ne ... ribes.html
Civil servants at the UK Border Agency are accused of opening the door to dozens of Nigerians whose visa applications would otherwise be refused.
It is said they gave them "indefinite leave to remain" in this country, which allows immigrants to work here and eventually acquire British citizenship.
Yesterday, the Home Office said two of its officials had been sacked over the alleged racket.
They face trial for misconduct in a public office.
The officials charged over the "bribes for visas" scam are Samuel Shoyeju, an agency entry clearance officer whose job was to vet applicants for UK visas, and Violet Savizon, an immigration officer.
Legal sources said both defendants denied the charges.
you dont need to wast your precious time responding to mochyn or what is he called,he is one of the nuisance in this forum, just take a look at all his/her previous post on this forum then you will understand what i'm saying.HRY2005 wrote:IMO your response to that post doesn't make sense. If all you can do is put all Nigerians in one basket by saying "to most Nigerians, it's a game". Are Nigerians the most ethnic minorities or migrant in the UK?
Is one thing to respond to a post based on the information given, it's another to post or respond to a post with a very biased mind. Many people would comment and condemn the act of corrupt officials vested with authority of a public office but you have chosen to debate issues that hasn't got any relevance and put all Nigerians in one basket.
There are 150 million people living in Nigeria, what percentage of that are in the UK, or applying to come to the UK that gives you the right to say "most Nigerians" ?
Having watched the UK border force showing how it operates in Lagos, it was the only embassy where you could pick up forged documentation outside the embassy.Staff had to take circuitous routes to the embassy for fear of being shot or kidnappedHRY2005 wrote:IMO your response to that post doesn't make sense. Mochyn is a nuisance in this forum and also a saddest, you need to go through all his/her post, he has never made any positive comment.thebionicredneck2003 wrote:For the moderators,
I believe when people like mochyn make uneducated comments that prove ignorance, and slag other nationalities or countries like some of the ones made above, you should do something about it.
Thank you
Rizwan, what is the correlation between the last three paragraphs in that article and the point highlighted above by mochyn about being a game. Generalisation is the bane of society and applications are treated and approved on their own merit.Even refusing Nigerians at a rate of 126 per day doesn't deter them. The question they ask when getting a refusal is ''When can I apply again''
For most Nigerians it is a game
