Thank you shawna for a quick reply. How long does it take for INIS to send the letter and yellow form etc?

I called INIS y'day and a very kind lady told me that my file has come back from the minister and I shall expect a letter from INIS soon. I asked her if there has been any decision on my application then she replied as she is not suppose to disclose it over the phone but she said that everything is ok and looks good.

Now does that mean my naturalization application has been approved by Minister and how long does it take for the letter to arrive from INIS?

If it is an approval then can I go ahead and book for the oath in advance etc?
Great news cool_irish. Congratulations

Do you know when the file was sent to minister?

Hi all "Class of 2009"- just a quick update for all of us waiting. NONE OF THE 2009 APPLICATIONS CURRENTLY WITH INIS HAS BEEN LOOKED AT-/ OR APPROVED !!

It seems, according to my source that all further processing has been put on hold for the time being...something gotta do with the implementation of the forthcoming citizenship-act....that's all for now.

I'm not so sure about that, if so maybe it was his-/her lucky day !!

Anyway i was told INIS is pre-occupied with developing a new visa-scheme aimed at attracting foreign investeors-/ entrepreneurs-/ business people to Ireland and that's why citizenship-/ naturalisation issues are not seen as a priority at this very moment, we'll have to wait...wait some more...a little more...and then just a little more.....

That's not good news Latan, especially since I'm 2008 applicant which makes my wait much longer than you guys class of 2009.

Good luck to all.

2009 applicant

Post by aim » Fri Apr 29, 2011 9:06 pm

Hi there,

I had applied in May 2009 and my wife had applied in Sep 2009. A week back I had submitted my pay slips and bank statements voluntarily and received an acknowledgement. I haven't been asked to submit any further documents. Today my wife has received a letter requesting pay slips and bank statements despite the fact that I had submitted my application at least three months before her.

Both of us are working. Is it advisable to submit salary slips and bank statements of my wife alone or better to submit salary slips and bank statements of both of us given that my wife is on spousal permit?

with best wishes,

AIM

Hi AIM,
if i were in ur place i would have never thought of sending my payslips and bank statements with my spouse,
firstly its not dealing like dept. of enterprise that spouse is dependent on primary work permit holder
secondly u cant contact DoJ in any STRAIGHT MANNER, its only ur doc. talk to them if u send more and more and if they get confused they will put your file to one side for next six months or year or god knows well coz DoJ says that every application is dealt independently like me and my friend applied for long term residency on same day nearly 90%of situation of both of us were similar still we both got approval in gap of six months and this dept. is even worse.
so in my opinion just send ur wife doc. and may be she is so lucky that she get her approval very soon and then u can send copy of her CoN with ur doc. will b plus point for u.

Also as Latan says there is something going on in Doj in some sense he is right coz its really strange, but what i thimk is DoJ wants to clear the whole baclog of 2005,06,07,08 and then start for 2009 applicants and is some sense it is right and it should be done like this.
c what happens next but the result of patience is always sweet so prey to god and hope for the best.
good luck

Still Waiting

Post by nd2011 » Thu May 05, 2011 10:44 am

Eventually got through to inis after 25 mins. The latest update was that Cert. has been printed, its either waiting to be posted or waiting to be sealed and signed by the Minister. She said i should receive the Cert. in the coming week otherwise i should call back or write if i don`t receive it after 3 or 4 weeks, what a long wait???
Yellow Form and Acompanying Documents were posted to inis at the end of March, 2011 while the acknowledgement of receipt of the documents was received from inis in First Week of April, 2011. Still Waiting for the arrival of the Cert.
