Proof of British Citizenship/identification as sponsor

Post by skyepark » Tue May 10, 2011 4:12 pm

Hi guy

Me again, I couldnt find that pdf of the UKBA of documents needed for spouse visa application. Unfortunatly I won't be in the same country as my spouse when the application is made. Since I cannot provide my original passport, do I have to provide certified copies of my british passport or notarize them? Can I self certify the copies?

http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/ ... settlement Ok found the PDF but it does not mention certifying copies, but it would be better to I guess.

I would advise getting the copies certified just to be sure there will be no delays or worse, refusals.
