Well , has anyone given any password for Visa Verified option. I am updated by my bank HSBC that with out this they will not approve payment.

Pls let me know if the details provided in the application form for credit card is enough for them to charge

Still no e-mail with reference number since 12th July, when the card was charged. :(
I sent several e-mails, but they didn't answer. :(
applicant_100, alee, NGOBROS, did you receive your reference numbers?

Don't worry too much. I think it is best to call them. You get a quick responce.

Here is my time line:
June 27th - Fed Exed HSMP app
June 29th - Received by HO
July 12th - Fee withdrawn
July 17th - Called HO and was given reference # and was told a decision was made on July 14th and documents have already been sent to me via mail.
July 18th - Called again to verify information and was told the same thing but no one could let me know if i got the visa or not. :|

Just waiting now I also received the reference number via mail today so if they have mailed it like they said they did on Friday July 14th I expect it to be here next week sometime.

THANKS TO EVERYONE HERE FOR THEIR HELP.

Problem: CC hasnt got charged yet after 20 days

Post by alee » Wed Jul 19, 2006 11:14 am

Hi All,

My CC hasnt been charged yet  I am really getting worried about my documents. I sent application on 30th June 2006 through Fedex on address:
7th Floor
> Fountain Precinct
> Balm Green
> Sheffield
> S1 2JA

Fedex confirmed delivery on 5th July. However CC hasnt been charged yet. I sent email to HSMP team on HSMP.Workpermits@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

No reply from their side. I tried calling them on 0114 207 6020 AND 0114 207 4074 but no one attends the call.

Please suggest what should I do to confirm that they have got my documents as I have sent all my original documents.
Regards,
Alee

alee,

Infact I am very much confused to see these two addresses in the Applicantion as I was sending it through Courier.

I followed the Flowchart and sent my application by courier to
Work Permits (UK) HSMP
P.O. Box 3975
Sheffield
S1 9BL
(Also this address is mentioned under "Credit Card" section of Payments. It Says "Initial Application should be sent to the adress")

Frankly I didn't understand how does it make a difference if sent by courier. I sent an email to them but receivced no response.
Anyways my card is charged and am waiting for reference number.

Anyone has done similarly Or differently??

There is no need for that.

It is very critical that *you do* notarise your passport copy, otherwise it will not be considered as valid and you will lose points for that section. Please refer to the new guidance notes available on http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/workin ... orms.html. to verify this for your satisfaction.

Captain74, please do your homework before posting misleading facts on this forum.

rkc

Firstly, you can be a little more polite.

Secondly, the copy of passport is needed only if you have no other proof of age in which case I agree that this needs to be notarised.

Madan

Sorry, my mistake. I should have clarified if the intention behind sending the copy of passport is indeed to prove your age (relevant only if you are less than 28 years old really). If yes, then the copy does need to be notarised. If no, there is no need.

Hi rck and Captain

Thanks first for your replies. I would like to clarify : I am sending my original birth certificate for age verification . But i also see a mandate to attach a copy of the passport without any specific guidelines.

Thank you again for your help. I hope any successful applicants can validate if possible.

Reg : Work Experience

Post by madanrm » Wed Jul 19, 2006 6:07 pm

Hi

This is regarding work experience. The case worker's manual clearly states what to look for , however the application requests for documents other than employer reference. In my case i dont have my employer name mentioned in my SARAL form . My employer has given me elaborate letters though. Will this alone suffice.

Madan

I got my reference number only when I called them.
She told me that I will receive by an email only when a Case Worker is allocated. Also she told it will take 4-5 Weeks to complete the process once case worker is allocated.

Alee, Regarding the address, You can call them on 44+1142074074 to get the thing clarified than waiting.

Good Luck to everyone.

Well, I called them just now and got my reference number too. Simply to check that I understood everything in a right way - reference number is a sequence of 6 digits, yes?
My case is already assigned to caseworker, but the decision is not yet made.

I sent my application using Royal Mail Special Delivery on 18 July. Royal Mail confirmed that it arrived 19 July.

My CC has still not been charged. Has anybody else applied recently?
