I just called UK BA about my application

and same answer as 2 weeks before i.e waiting for allocation.

My time line is as under just for reminder

Applied on 14th March using NCS ( married to British citizen )
Ho received the documents on 16th March
Card debited 21 March
Acknowledgement received on 25th March ( dated 21st March )

9 Weeks now and still waiting for allocation. lol I was told by the lady that average wait is around 12 weeks at the moment it could be more. She also said to check in 3 weeks time.

I dont understand, why people dont show some patientce and being thank ful to what they have.

Guys no one is going to kick you out of UK since all of you applied for naturalisation have ILR in hand, 2ndly if not 3 weeks then may be 3 months but you will get nationality...3rdly things do take time, i understand some of you may need to travek abroad etc BUT still Patinetce people!!!

I Promise you all of you would get it in max 3 months time once payment has been deducted!

RELAX!!!

@Sheryar people here dont call HO because they are scared to be booted out of country etc. that is Joke as use your common sense and tell me if some one is on ILR and until not engaged in serious crime will not be deported.

there are few reasons that people call HO

as few applicants get their approvals in 3-4 weeks
HO use 2nd class royal mail to communicate ( can take up to 7 working days)
People have urgent plans to travel etc.

Surely we will see when you apply lol? at the moment you are just waiting for your Child's application. Also at no stage any HO adviser told me not to call them ( well how can they as they are charging 800+ per person ). I hope my explanation helps

Hello guys, I received my approval today, exactly 8 weeks after I applied.

The last I rang them was on 21.04.11, just before the Easter break and then I was told that it was in a queue to be allocated to a caseworker.

I missed this months ceremony at my council by just one day, it was on 11th May i.e. yesterday, now I'll have to wait for a month. Just confused whether to spend another 100 quid for a private ceremony or not !

I hope everyone who applied in March will get their approval soon.

I agree, having reviewed previous post, the approval time has doubled from 6-8 wks pre March to 12-16 wks post March.

I suppose they are busy processing the March applications now, everyone who applied in March should hear very soon I guess.

Just something strange with Royalmail - just out of curiousity I used to check the royalmail tracking everyday to see if my return special delivery envelope has been posted. I did the same yesterday, but it showed no information. However it arrived this morning ! I wonder why it didnt show that my package was in transit when I checked yesterday.

How do you know?
12-16 weeks since March is June-July! We're not even there yet so what examples are you basing this estimate on?
As a rule I disregard any figures the HO says over the phone. They are so inconsistent that anything could happen.
I have a good feeling that May applications won't take as long as the March ones. (or maybe it's just wishful thinking...)

What time you checked last night. Royal mail update the system very late in the night. For my letter I saw it was in transit around 12:30 AM for next day delivery. Before that the usual 'come back later' message was displayed.

Heartiest Congratulations tintin and others who received the approval letters today. Well deserved. Its a shame that you missed the deadline by 1 day.

All I can say to you is forget all the delays etc... and the wait that has happened and celeberate the moments and cherish them with your loved ones.

This is my husbands timeline so far:
Posted application on 8th march
Payment taken 14th march
Acknowlegement letter 16th march dated 12th march
Approval letter received today 13th may dated 11th may.

Thanks to everyone who posts on here info was very helpful.
I called HO last week on thursday and was told not allocated to caseworker
Yet, so very surprised with the approval today.
Was sent using the special delivery packet provided.
