ilr stamped 10 may 2011

Post by yshameel » Thu May 12, 2011 12:19 pm

Hi All,

Just wanted to share my details with you all.
Got my ILR stamped for myself and 2 dependants in croydon peo.
I was old WP holder with continous 5 years working for same employer.
I did not put COP or average earnings in the employer letter as that is what a solicitor suggested as well when I consulted him. he said that mine is old WP and do not worry about that.
other documents submitted.
Life in uk test
WP issue letter
FLR ied letter
3 passports
5 years p60
employer letter
3 month bank statement
3 months payslip
marriage certificate
child birth certificate
i had only 80 days absences in 5 years
photos
proof of cohabitation: 3 joined bills, nhs card, 3 bank statements, poll registration card.
£2700.

everything went smoothly and no questions were asked.

Thanks,

IMHO, you should consider yourself lucky as the new requirements do apply to "old WP" migrants too (134(iv)).

Guess the exact match of your Job title with a given SOC code in COP made it easier for the caseworker to ascertain on his own that you are being paid at the appropriate rate .. rather than having to depend on a letter from employer to certify that!
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

When you get WP first you get a letter from home office confirming your WP.
And then they send you a letter asking us to submit the passports for the WP to be stamped on it.
