P60's original or print off duplicate?

Post by Cosmos » Thu May 12, 2011 1:26 pm

Hi all

I'd like to ask the experts about the P60's to submit for ILR.

I lost most of them and my employer is offering me to send print offs of the duplicate documents and I also have photocopies of two of them.

Is this valid for ILR application or I still need to contact HMRC to get a statement of earnings?

Many thanks in advance

Additionally it is advisable to call HMRC and get a statement.

for someone applying for Ilr next week and has not been given the latest P60,what is the alternative document.
Will the recent 12 months payslips and the 4 P60 be ok to prove 5 years continous residence

Should be ok. Provide the original payslips.
Also try to provide a company letter which has your salary mentioned in it.

Thank you Manila-Pep.

I still have another question:

Marriage certificate,

1. Is this necessary for an ILR SET(O) application?

2. If yes, do I have to send it together with a translation?

Anyone please?

Thanks

I dont think that its listed as a mandatory requirement but if you are applying for a spouse along with you, how will they know that person is related to you other than just your word for it (and possibly previous applications).

highly advisable to send a marraige certificate and of course if its not in English then a translation should be done.

you can request your employer to send you the letter with last year's earnings.

Does your Wife's passport has your name endorsed as husband? if yes then that is on of the way to establish the relation between you. Marriage certificate would be ace though.
