Student Visa and Graduation Ceremony

I have recently passed my PhD viva. I got my PhD award notification (PSW visa letter) on April 1st, 2011 (Degree still pending). I am planning to attend the graduation ceremony in July, 2011 for the award of my PhD degree.

I am now leaving for Pakistan to visit my parents in June, 2011.

My current student visa is expiring on July 31st, 2011. I am interested to know that If my current student visa will be valid to attend my graduation ceremony to get my PhD degree. Can I re-enter UK with the same visa ?
