HI Everyone

I have been living in UK from the past 8 years. From September 2003 to October 2009 under Student visa and from October 2009 to present under Tier 1 (Post study work visa), Expecting my Tier 1 (General) Visa very soon InshAllah and once I will get my visa I am going to apply for Tier 1 Dependent visa for my wife from Pakistan. Now my question is regarding the maintenance requirement for dependent.

Since, I am in UK for last 8 years, is it ok for me to show £533 maintenance funds for my wife? or Do I need to show £1600?

it is £533 but it is safe to show 1600 considering the recent silly rejections on dependent visa .

533£ for your dependent and 800£ for yourself
1333£ in total in your bank statement for the last 3 months. Also make it sure the last month statement is under 30 days old once you file the application for your dependent. To be on safer side keep the statement above 1500£. If you have any questions, feel free to ask
