Tier 1 General Age points issue !!!!!

This is for Tier 1 General Initial Appilication. I got 5 points for Age claimed against 10. How are age points calculated ??? 22 December 1976 to 22 December 2011. What would be the Age points I need to consider ? As per the points System it says ' for Age 30-34 the points awarded are 10. And for Age 35-39 the points Awarded are 5. Where do I stand. I Request all the Moderators and Senior Members to help me in this Regard. Thank you Again for your kind Advice.

I just want to correct my question. The age points requested was from 22 December 1976 to 22 December 2010. The application was posted in first week of Jan 2011. Thank you

The Age Calculator says '' 34 years 15 days'' . If this is what it says then, Can I appeal for 10 points for Age ?

If you are 34.99 years old then you are not 35 years yet.

I had same confusion when applied for initial visa when I was 29 yrs 3months old.

Dear Moderators and Senior Members,
This is reference to the recent query regarding the Age points,
My Visa was refused and an appeal is allowed. I have chosen an inperon Appeal Hearing. In order to prove the age points, if i present my passport... will that be ok. or do i need any other document to prove age ? Considering if i have made a mistake in application and i have claimed " 5 points insted of 10 points " .... will i be able to resolve by showing Age proof ? Will the decision be made on the same day ? What would be the actual process in the hearing court on the day i attend. Any previous members who have attended the hearing can " share your experiences ".

Yes, you should claim 10 points. Your passport is the proof of your age.
