Process / steps for visa | Please help

Hello All,

Does anyone has knowledge of the steps for tier 1 general extension visa . By step I meant after the submission of application till return of passport .

Example :

1.) Application submitted
2.) Biometric mail received
3.) Biometric Letter received
4.) Took appointment
5.) Undergone Biometric
6.)
7.)
8.)


and so on .

Does actual processing of application starts post biometric or does that happen in parallel ?

Any idea ..
