Spanish work visa

I'm an American living in Spain for almost 3 years and wanted to apply for my work visa. I've heard that at 3 years it's much easier, but I couldn't find any information online.

What's the process for applying for a work or residence visa after 3 years of living in the country?

What are the restrictions or requirements on travel outside the country for extended periods of time after the visa is obtained?

ya if u have 3 years in spain u can apply work permit
1.police certificate from ur home country....translated in spanish n stamped from ur embassy in spain
2.certificate of arrigo social... means lang test certificate from ur ayuntamiento where u r empadronado
3.pre contract of work for one year...
after these docoments u can apply for your work permit
