13 days up. Still no news.

Guide to processing times page is updated with data from March and indicates that 98% of the applications were processed in 15 days.

In case anyone is following this thread:

My wife finally received her EEA permit. Processing time was 18 working days. 4th April - Submitted app at Dusseldorf
3rd May - Status changed to "Ready for pickup by courier"
4th May - Received the passport with the permit

The vacation season in the UK definitely hit us hard but in general the shift to processing of applications in the UK has resulted in the processing time increasing nearly three fold. Incidently, after 15 days we again wrote to World Bridge and they indicated that they would escalate the issue. Not sure if this helped but we have the passport back now.

Applied for an EEA Family permit for wife at WorldBridge, Dusseldorf on 3MAY.

Now 15 working days (default processing time) have passed and status on the WB site indicates "Received at the visa section".

Sent couple of emails to them and have not heard anything from them except with the same reply "Arrived at the visa section"

Wonder why the delay...hope they have not lost any documents....

03MAY: Submitted documents to DUS Worldbridge
03JUN: Status updated from: "Arrived at the Visa Section" to: "With courier. Attempting delivery"
06JUN: Received EEA Permit with Passport :D

Long live the magic of outsourcing! :x
