Hi everybody..this website is so informative and helpful..hope u will help me as well..
I got my 2 year spouse visa( Spouse of UK citizen) from Dublin Ireland Issue date 04-02-2010 and expiry date 04-05-2012.
Then I left Ireland at date 11-3-2010 with my family and travelled to my home country with my wife and baby.
There was no stamp at my passport while traveling from dublin to london and then after few hours stay at london airport we flew towards my home country for 6 weeks holidays and then I returned with my wife and baby to uk dated 01-05-2010.
At 01-05-2010 my passport was stamped at heathrow london.
Till 01-05-2010 I am living with my family in UK.
Now I would like to know in regards my ILR when my time start either from
11-03-2010 or from 01-05-2010.
If I go from 11-03-2010 my passport are not stamped but I have all boarding cards from dublin to london and the same date towards my home country.
But would it be ok as I was away almost 6 week from uk with my family in my home country ?
OR
Should I start my time from 01-05-2010 as I came to uk with my family and passport was stamped as well.
Please advice me
Thanks in advance.

If you only transited through London airport on 11/03/2010, then they may argue that you never really entered the UK then. Probably safer to consider 01/05/2010 as your start date.
Apply for
ILR from
Tuesday, 3 April 2012 and before your leave expires.

Hi vinny
I have one more query about my passport expiry.
My passport will be expire in sep 2012 with valid visa expiry date may 2012.
Before applying ILR in april 2012 I wanna renew my passport.
So after renewal and before applying ILR Do I have to transfer my current visa on new passport. Or will it be ok to apply ILR with new passport but with attached old one.?
Thanks in advance

No need to transfer visa as long as you keep both passports with you when travelling and submit to UKBA along with your application.
